Spot O' Chicken Soup




Chicken – Carrot Tortilla Soup



2 chicken breasts, 6 c. water, 1 tsp. salt

Boil till chicken is tender.



1 lb. carrots, sliced, 1 Tbs. butter, 1 Tbs. honey
1 tsp. salt, black pepper to taste, 2 c. water

Boil till carrots are tender.



Remove cooked chicken from broth and cut into chunks. Set aside.



Stack 4 burrito-size flour tortillas and slice into strips. (I cut w/ scissors.)

Add water to broth to make 2 quarts of liquid. Bring to a boil, and drop tortilla stips in.

Boil strips till liquid is cloudy and strips look more like noodles than tortillas.

Add 3 Tbs. chicken Orrington Farms Broth Base & Seasoning Chicken Flavored.

Return Chicken to broth. Add carrots.




  I wrote down this recipe after I put concocted it yesterday and realized 
I want to make this again! Adjust the measurements to suit your taste!
