Dotted In White

Almost every day
I walk across my yard
or down the street,
and these dainty little
flowers add interest
to the trek. After the
brown blah of Winter
it is so encouraging to
see the new blooms.
And there are even more
white blooms I haven't
photographed... maybe
I can capture them
tomorrow :-)

Patio "Dragons"

Early blooms from my Snapdragons that I planted last Fall,

and new leaves on my resilient Red Dragon plant!

Easy House Plant

I don't have alot of experience with cacti,
but this one plant has slowly and steadily multiplied
for the past 2 or 3 years in this shallow dish,
and with no babying...just occasional light watering.

I am careful around those pricklies :-)
but other than that, it's wonderful!

Clump of Narcissus

These beautiful blooms line my neighbor's driveway
with promise of Spring on the way!

Ranunculus

Last year I planted some Ranunculus bulbs
but they didn't grow. They are a bit of a
novelty to me, as I've never seen them
growing naturally. Intriguing!

This year I just bought a small plant to
brighten a spot when I'm so longing
to get out and dig in the dirt.

(The ground is too wet today,
but hopefully this week we'll
get alot of trimming and
yardwork done, and then
be ready to plant a few things.)

That Green Really Pops!

When it's brown all around because everything froze and died back,
the greens really stand out... How lovely they are!
How much they make me wish for Spring :-)
